New Road

When the national cycle path network opened in 2000 the old railway from Callander to Killin junction was used for most of that section, apart from a few miles from Strathyre to Balquhidder which was diverted the long way around by the back road from Strathyre to Kirkton. But this seems about to change and for the last couple of months this new road has been being constructed along the old railway line. It's been tarmaced already at the Balquhidder end, but seems still to be being bulldozed near Strathyre.

And totally off topic but the Glasgow school of art Macintosh building went up in smoke today. Really hope that they pull though what must be a devastating event.
