Gateshead Car Park

Model of the infamous Gateshead car park which is part of the Newcastle city futures exhibition at the Guildhall. This is the original architectural model by the Owen Luder practice.The real one was demolished in 2010.It was made famous as a location in Mike Hodges 1970's cult british gangster film Get Carter where Michael Caine's character throws a another villain from the top!
