BREAKING NEWS: I made a pot of tea!
It's a blue-green tea from Mae Salong village, Thailand.
The leaves are rolled into little pea-sized balls, but quickly unfurl as they steep. It tastes planty like green tea, but has a nice woody/toasty background.
If I had to choose a favorite tea that wasn't a Darjeeling, this would be it.
