Leonberger dog

We were coming out of a restaurant which allowed small dogs and decided this breed perhaps didn't pass the "small dog" test! However the owner was more than happy to let us photograph him. The Leonberger holds a special significance for me as my parents had one for many years. A large but very gentle breed.
