Sheltered

Blackbirds have a nest in the space between some old fencing that leans against the house. Here’s the female protecting the nest. We are pretty sure there is at least one young one, but it is tricky seeing inside the nest and I didn’t want to get any nearer and frighten her away. Windy today, but the nest is sheltered from the elements. Very sensible . . . for a Blackbird!
