A Hard Nut to Crack

This was maybe the makeshift answer to the traffic cops' dilemma at B&Q at Fort Kinnaird this afternoon. I popped in to get a bit for the sheared off shower head, only to come out of the shop 15 minutes later to gridlock and mayhem. I eventually had to leave the car for 2 hours before it cleared. Annoyingly, I was meant to be travelling on to East Linton for a baby-visiting-mince-pie-and-mulled-wine-and-Chinese-takeaway-eating frenzy; not to be.

Meanwhile, Squirrel Nutkin here seems to have frozen solid, with a bit of a Phantom look to his head. Yesterday a bit more snow was covering his eye, but so far he hasn't thawed out to manage to head for his hidey-hole.
