One for Sorrow

The poor magpie has a terrible reputation- as a thieving, greedy, murderer with a less- than- beautiful voice.

I still enjoy watching him, and certainly don't do as my grandma did. If she saw one she would hold her collar until she spotted an ambulance. What a strange superstition. I can only assume there were not so many magpies around at that time.



I am competing again in the Cardiff Photomarathon on May 31st, and hope that this will help me to find my blip 'mojo.'
