Italian Chppel - detail

Up at 07.30 this morning for a walk. We promised our visitors we would walk from Costa Head to the Brough of Birsay. A cliff-top walk with tremendous views. However not in this weather. Exceedingly poor visibility with north, north west wind, heavy rain and very chilly. Walk cancelled and they leave Orkney tomorrow.

So they decided on a day in Kirkwall - Museum, Cathedral, County Archive etc. Went with them for a quick spin around to the Italian Chapel, on the premise of getting there early before the coach parties from the Cruise Liners. We have left them to their investigations and we returned home to Creel HQ.
