Moving Forwards & Looking Backwards

Eh ! well this was me on my way back to Edinburgh from Leeds today but at this point I was in the back driving cab as I wasn't booked to take over the driving until Newcastle which wasn't too bad I had 2 hours in Leeds but for some reason couldn't be arsed leaving the messroom probably as it looked like it was going to chuck down with rain and I was tired today as it was up early to do my voting as inside was deathly quiet that must be a boring job sitting in there all day and sadly no people with there party rosettes about as I would have liked to tell the Ukip rep what I think of them as it seems the possibility of a 2 horse race between them and the SNP for the 6th seat as they reckoned that the Liberals would lose there 1 MEP I don't think Scotland are as much in favour to ukip as down south and the UK gov seem to panic these days about them Anyway nuff said about politics today this shot was taken as we had passed through Newton-Aycliffe and were approaching Ferryhill heading north on my route learning through this area back in the mid 90's there was on old loop here before my time and was for trains to go into to allow faster trains by it was Known as " Linger and Die" well I was that tired I felt that's what I could have done with lol only kidding anyway the only other decent shot I took was of the class A4 Union Of South Africa as it stood in York station but I liked this one better with the nice green and ominous looking sky about to drop a load of wet stuff all over County Durham then I had to do a quick message and drop it off at my mums and head home at that was my day off tomorrow thankfully but driving to Leeds Saturday and Sunday hmmpphhh oh well the life of a Train Driver now then movie for the day is " The Lingering 2013 " Looks nice Large See Ya
