Sunset

I am still amazed by the views I get from the bay window in our lounge. 6 years in the old flat and I think I only saw about 3 worthwhile sunsets. This is a slightly different view from past ones I've posted. This is the sky (straight from camera) as the sunsets over the old colony houses.

I'm back to trying foods from my elimination diet again. As it appears in everything I've decided to go with chilli this week so it's delicious cajun turkey on the menu for tonight. On the lines of food intolerances, I'm more than a little annoyed. Now I know that companies want to keep their ingredients secret but I rang a famous stock cube company today, explained my situation and then waited for them to call me back. Guess what they said? "We don't know but they have quite a bland favour so it's unlikely they will contain citrus or chilli". What? WHAT! Mayonnaise has a bland flavour but a number of brands contain both lemon and paprika! Can not believe it, so now, after I try the main things that may cause problems for me, I'm then going to have to trial individual products. Yay!

In other news:

The combination of prolonged cold temperatures, metal srainage pipes and a continuous leaking tap led to our drain freezing today. A few tubs of salt and several vats of boiling water and it is now defrosted. I think we'll be keeping the plug in the bath until the leak is fixed.
