Mother's Day
My favourite moment of every year is standing on the altar with the boys at the Mother's Day mass. It's just a pure moment of perfection for me that bring tears to my eyes.
After mass and doughnuts, we headed to the Getty Center, one of my long time places of solace in LA. I want little more than to spend my days with these boys, exploring, this time, the Queen Victoria photographic exhibition, Jackson Pollock (Callum looked on entranced) and Hiroshi Sugimoto (unbelievable).
After our Mexican lunch which I enjoyed with champagne, there was rarely time to wonder through the gardens.
Here we are, hot and sweaty, before walking down instead of taking the tram. But what joy came from the meandering: a full bonus hour in the grounds long after visitors had left. Bliss.
