Lunchtime Oasis

Dubbed "Alligator Lake", this little area just off the bay is a great lunchtime getaway. In 15 minutes I was treated to black-hooded parakeets, a great blue heron, a snowy egret, a water turkey aka Anhinga, a little alligator, and flocks of Ibis. It was amazing to see so much in such a short time. Definitely going back, next time with my good camera.

Today I am thankful for my amazing daughter who go some amazing news. Hopefully she will be joining us in FL in the near future. :-)
