Chinatown

Passing by London's Chinatown on my way home this evening. Our eldest son, John, is staying for a few days. The house was in a bit of a mess but I came home tonight to find he'd cleaned everywhere and tidied the place up. His girlfriend is coming tomorrow and he thought his parents were letting the side down somewhat. Imagine it. This was once a teenage son - utter transformation. I'm impressed.

I spoke with George on the phone and he sounded beat after a tough week at sea. We're looking forward to seeing him for his birthday on Saturday. Still no good news about his friends but he says a lot of yachts are out there searching now - sailors looking out for their own.
