Warning: Ducklings on Board

I started my morning in Coldharbour, in Docklands, and so my journey at 0630 involved lots of foot bridges and docks.

I almost made myself late by stopping to chat with this lovely Greater Tufted Wharf Canary (or something - my RSPB chums can fill in the blanks).

If you look closely, there's a little stripey baby duckling head at the nape of her neck; and a feathery duckling bum sticking out on the water behind her right wing.
