The Mid Section

A few months ago photographer Jarleth came into the Charity Shop in Smithfield having been commissioned to do a photographic study of the people and activities in the Smithfield area.
The morning he arrived the place was buzzing with action and he took loads of pictures of staff and customers.
The invite came for the Launch of the exhibition which was on this evening.
It is on the street-side on Benburb St Dublin 7, and can be seen from the Luas.
It is entitled Complexions and each exhibit has three body sections and I managed to get the bottom bit in one and the mid section in another!!
It is wonderfully composed, a great credit to Jarleth and the team and an excellent expression of the warmth of the community in the area.
We are there now over two years and it is an excellent place to have our shop.
This was my tea break, sleeves rolled up, in the middle of sorting donations.

Finally I think my wife (Mary, the same one) is having a bit of a laugh at me
