Askerswell

This view from the main road to Bridport is of Askerswell, where I first went to school and also rang the church bells in this church below.
The ploughed area and big green fields in the top half of the frame are part of the farm we were brought up on, it's in the neighbouring village Uploders, so many child hood memories abound in this image.

I visited a friend in hospital at Dorchester this afternoon cheered her up with lots of reminiscing! and then on to see mum at West Bay, now back in Weymouth, it's raining!
