The first time I left the flat this year..

..and I was on a mission to find a calendar in the sales for our kitchen. The only place that had reduced them in price was Waterstones. 'Excellent!' I thought, as I'd seen a lovely Audrey Hepburn one in there on NYE. But could I find it? No. It had sold out already. So it was a choice between vintage posters (tempting, but wasn't keen on some of the posters), Paddington Bear (I liked it, but wasn't sure my OH would approve) or Marilyn Monroe. So I chose Marilyn.

I also bought 2 small wooden frames in the sale, amongst other needed/boring bits & bobs.
