Goodbye....

We are still on holiday in Scotland but had a different sort of holiday day today as we were at a funeral. Two days before we came away I had a call from a dear friend to say her mum had died. This dear lady and her husband were the pastors in our guernsey church some years ago and we were very close to them. I said we were in Scotland on holiday this week only to find that we were staying 6 miles away. The funeral was a real celebration of a special lady. We spent time with the family this afternoon which was lovely. Unfortunately the 12 yr old granddaughter ended up in hospital this evening awaiting an op for appendicitis. Only 2 more days then home. Wish we could stay longer. This is the Dalserf Church where our friend is the minister and where the funeral took place. Its a lovely old church and beautiful inside
