Sunshine After The Rain

I didn't have many hopes of seeing a sunrise this morning. It had been raining heavily for the best part of the night, and when I looked out of the (south facing) window at 05:00, the sky looked quite grey, with just the odd patch of blue.

"But still," I thought, "I might as well grab the camera and go for a stroll. I only hope it doesn't rain whilst I'm out."

I didn't feel very enthusiastic, but I fed the cat and wandered off up the hill feeling somewhat despondent in my stride.

Imagine my surprise when half way up the hill I glanced behind me and saw this sky ... :o)
