What happened to summer

After such lovely days this last week whats happened to summer today.

The rain they have been forecasting the last few days finally arrived in Lancashire today, although not as heavy as predicted at least so hopefully my Clematis flowers will stay in bloom foe a few days yet, hopefully long enough for me to shoot some macro images of them for my collection.
