Thank goodness for last minute inspiration - my day sounded remarkably similar to your Davidd in terms of polling stations and posters.

Thank you Valerie for a superb lunch out - I think we need to schedule in a few more "bookfestival planning meetings"! before the next one in 2016.

However, I am very excited to announce that we have finally booked a holiday - Italy- Lake Como - with 90% of our requirements ticked, though not the "within budget" one. Searching for the perfect place became quite an ordeal for me, since it won't be the same next year as Ben will be in Cambodia and James is talking about holidaying with friends instead of us. Time seems to be whizzing by....

Off to Hay on Wye tomorrow for a grown up bookfestival, so will be off air for a few days. Catch up with you later.
