Out walking

Went for a walk round to the shop with Colette and Eliott this afternoon. Eliott was in the pram and Herbie was in his usual position, pushing him along with the occasional stop to see if he was ok. Certainly takes longer to get places, an hour and a half to get 3 onions from the shop!! But it is a joy to see you walking independently along, wanting to shut and open the gates along the way.

Today mummy has been very upset as you are still biting, and I just don't know how to stop it. You are not doing it on purpose and it's almost like a sign of affection as you only do it with daddy and I, and gran got a nip yesterday. It's generally when you come in for cuddles, which is the un- nerving bit because I just think your going to nip, so I find myself on edge when we have cuddles . All we can do is persevere with saying "no biting" and hope it's just a phase you will pass out of very soon.
