The Cave

After a lengthy walk yesterday we were a bit tired. Still it was nothing a few beers and unwise quantities of carbs ( Sticky Toffee Pudding ) couldn't put right. So we decided to take it a bit easier today. We wandered around Keswick Market this morning and then went up to just above Rydal Water to find these caves which we had heard about but never been to before.

I couldn't decide whether to take a photo from outside looking in , or inside looking out. It was a still day and there were lots of little bitey things flying around the entrance, so I went in to escape them and took this. Tricky contrasts. I liked the jagged edge round the top.
