Buying Succulents.

C&R bought some beautiful Succulents this morning! I joined them. They did the buying, I did the shooting!! ;-)

I was particularly impressed by this 'Halfmensboom' (Half Human Tree?) Thx Z (MissU2) as well as ~beuatifulblue who helped with the botanical name, and identification.

They bought three 'Impala Lily' trees, which you can keep small by planting them in small containers. They prefer temperatures of over 30C, and are quite sensitive to our harsh Winter. We will keep them in pots on the veranda, it get very hot there since we've closed it in with aluminium and glass.

We are taking R jnr out to a restaurant tonight. We have a surprise for him!! C&R received a letter from the school today, informing them he was selected to be a School Prefect at the new Private Secondary School he will be attending for his final school year this year! We are só proud of him! We can only pray that he will be worthy of their trust in him, although we are actually sure he will do the job with due diligence! Can't wait to see his face when he reads his letter!! ;-)
