Half the people on the train had either a rain coat or umbrella this morning. I think there is an email chain I am not getting telling everyone that it's going to rain in London.

It was the local and euro election today I was doing my usual work around the area at lunch time and found the local polling station - there was a police man standing guard outside. Is this normal in London ?
