colouring in my world
I came home last night after a long day of work/meetings and supermarket shopping - long after Sienna had gone to bed and her pot of colour pens and paper were still sitting outside. Her default activity is to draw when she doesn't know what to do and how lovely that she could do it in the evening sun!
It was a gentle reminder to appreciate and treasure these moments - as the start of the day had been challenging. Zachary had knocked his lava lamp off the bedside table whilst making his bed, smashing into a trillion pieces, and he had lost his school tie, Sienna had spilt nailpolish (which she was not meant to be touching!) down her school uniform just as we were leaving and one of my key staff called in sick which meant I had to miss the course I was booked on. All minor stuff really...and all forgotten when the sweet moments are also part of your life.
