Wizard of Oz

The preparations are well underway for the flower festival at Pickering Church. After a morning of heavy rain the churchyard has been prepared although the church has been closed to visitors until tomorrow.

I thought I would be struggling to find a blip in the inclement weather but surprised myself this afternoon with a walk through the churchyard. It is lovely to see both St. Joseph's the catholic primary school along with Pickering Junior school have contributed the Witch and the Tin Man.

Looking forward to the doors opening on the festival tomorrow.!
