1960's Vintage wedding dress
I am calmer today, (see yesterday) I am working with some teenagers who have a variety of problems from anorexia, depression and self mutilation. I have been working with them since January, once a week for 3 hours. They have done some great stuff. Todays task was choosing the images for our show. Each one of us chose his/her favorite 25 images we compiled the results, the top 5 were all D's. He was so proud/happy/pleased. He apparently is the most difficult of all the students, I have never encountered any problems with him, I'd go even as far to say he is my best student.
An hour and a half in to the class, the psychologist arrived to talk to him. He came back destroyed. All the positiveness and joy removed. He had been told that he was worthless and was mad. That tomorrow he was going to the mental institute and they keep him until his mum arrived to pick him up, which showed how serious it was.
How can you treat a kid like that and call yourself a professional? I have asked for a meeting with her and her boss.
I was/am livid.
We cleaned to house from top to bottom this morning and then shut myself in the office for a few hours to play with Lightroom. I have a vintage, very stylized, wedding in July. This is their engagement shoot I know that I want a pink tinge look to their images without them looking too "vintage" in a horrible instagram way.
