Civic duty

When so many people are fighting for democracy around the world, I sometimes think we take it too much for granted. That being my thinking, I therefore did my civic duty this morning on the way into work, and voted in the European elections.

While looking at the ballot paper and deciding where to put my cross, I thought that there seemed to be a lot of nasty/negative parties that seem to say no to everything. Oh well, I suppose that is democracy, warts and all!
