School Cross Country

Today was the school cross country and although it was a bit cool, we were lucky to have fine weather.

Part of the course was over a steep part of our farm, and along with the wet slippery ground, and having to dodge cow poo on the course, some of the students found it a real cross country challenge.

Son T didn't compete, due to his hip fracture. Son C, who is in my photo, was running in a higher age group this year and finished the run at 10.09.44 - three minutes ahead of the record from last year. C bet his own record from last year by 36 seconds.

Unfortunately this isn't the a very clear photo, but one of the best that I captured today.
