Bomb "Scare?"

Before I start, just a quick thing to say about Blipfoto:

Some days nothing interesting happens. A dull day with few ups and downs and many middles. At least I think. Then I have to right a journal entry and post a picture. I find myself taking more pictures and engaging myself in the day. At the end of the day I have to retrace my steps and I always end up weeding out the keeper stories.

I guess what I'm trying to say is dull days haven't been so dull for me anymore, and for that, I thank Blipfoto. Today, however, wasn't a dull day...

Evacuation during Chorus; we had a sub.

The title is based on the fact that it's not scary after it happens this many times.

It was very hot outside and the skin was peeling on the back of my neck from previous sunburn. The fresh skin got burnt because I didn't have sunscreen.

On the field, I climbed under the net and a teacher started yelling at me. I looked at her, looked away, then sat down as if she didn't exist. Then she came up close to yell at me. About climbing under the net. Honestly, Lady?

At one point, everyone stood up and started clapping because two kids ran away. It was amazing until loud speaker guy informed us that it wasn't a game and that we needed to sit down. Rudely.

Played Potato Chips with Travis, Kate, Joe, and others that I don't particularly remember.

Made a huge Lord of the Flies connection that I guess I'll go over now. The bomb is like the Beast, a threat that doesn't really exist. When the guy started announcing over the speaker, it was like he found the conch and he was Ralph. When the kids ran away, it was like the Jack rebellion. And Mrs. Goldberg is like Simon because she's gonna get the crud beaten out of her by scared parents. Boom.

There were two things everyone said to me the whole day, "Your tweets are on point," and, "Your neck is peeling," both super true.

Went to the New York State Democratic Convention to protest Common Core. Shapiro and Romano were there. Romano brought Sonja who had a sign that said, "I'm Not Common." It was really cute. Sarah, Julia, Breanna, Brianna, and I were the only kids that came. Extra credit, baby.

Went to Chipotle with my dad, then went home to change for the Chorus concert.

The Chorus concert was so excruciatingly long I won't even say anything more about it. Plus it wasn't that interesting.

Went to Friendly's afterwards where Andrew poked my nose.

Going to bed now.

Let the bed bugs bite, I don't even care.
