Can You Hear?

This is a shot at ERG ED games - the annual competition for 11-14 year olds in a program run by my rowing center to introduce inner city kids to the sport. They are exuberant to say the least - horrid rowers but who cares - they attack their 500 meters with vengeance. I cut my teaching teeth on this age group and how on earth I ever managed the noise that goes with the age I don't recall. But I was 23 at the time so that must account for the capacity I no longer have.

I left after 3.5 event volunteer hours, with a huge fat headache. But better now as am at home and having a crunchy salad.
