Lace

There is just something about a ponga when it is fresh and has new growth...and is isolated from other things.

Coming back from our walk this morning I noticed this beautiful ponga backlit by the sun. Had decided not to walk with my camera this morning, so collected it and returned....by myself!. Had a lot of fun, wanting to try and get that beautiful lacey look of the fronds and found by overexposing it gave it that real airy look. Have some other ideas that I will try out for another blip. We are away tomorrow for a few days visiting the family so may not get my blips done until I get home. Will get to see some grandies playing their winter sports, although the forecast looks as though we will be wearing raincoats and gummies!
