Amalfi Coast Holiday - Day 4

Although we were still on our feet, we stepped back in time today.

A visit to Pompei in the morning, which I felt was quite surreal. I had to keep reminding myself it was a real place where real people lived. It felt like a film set.

We were then taken to Vesuvius, where with a vulcanologist as our guide, we were allowed to walk around the rim of the volcano and even inside it. This was the highlight of the day for me.

This is also my 500th blip!! I'd got my sequencing all over the place as I've been back blipping shots of the holiday. So forgive me for choosing which shot I wanted my 500th to be.
