Presentiment

Presentiment is that long shadow on the lawn
Indicative that suns go down;
The notice to the startled grass
That darkness is about to pass.

My favourite Emily Dickinson poem, and it seems appropriate today. Yesterday's church was unconnected with the funeral as it happens; it's just a church we happened to pass, and I liked the grassy churchyard.
