Say goodbye to Spring!

This was the scene in the walled garden of King's Park - tulips, primulas and pansies all being dug up and put in wheelbarrows before being taken to the compost heap. Springtime planting is over. I spoke to one of the young gardeners but he doesn't yet know what the summer planting is going to be.
