Orkney Peat-fire Tales

Spent a wonderful evening at Via House - an evening of stories of Orkney Folklore & Island Legends. Lynn (the story teller) was ably supported by the fiddler & partner John who interjected in stories and helped demonstrate dances in which we joined in. It was indeed an evening of stories, music song & dance. The peat fire helped to add to the atmosphere.
We enjoyed the evening so much that we booked up for a Guided Town Walk of Stromness with John tomorrow morning.
