Gerbera

This is from a beautiful bunch of flowers that was given to my husband as a thank you for judging a talent competition at the school. I don't think he was as mean as Simon Cowell! He said the flowers were mine as an extra birthday present! We've had them since last Friday and they still look wonderful.

Today has been very grey and up interesting weather wise. It didn't really matter as all we had planned was a trip to the optician's and also to the shops to buy a couple of Diamond Wedding cards for two couples at church. Quite an achievement! The optician appointments went well for all of us, no problems though they made a nice lot of money out of me and Stuart. Paul has 20/20 vision (I remember those days..!) so no need for any glasses. He only started going because his ex wore glasses and said he should have his eyes checked too! So he decided to go back at the two year point. He says he'll go back again in two years - I suppose it's as well to keep an eye on your eyes! ;-)
