I laughed today until I cried and my sides hurt.

I will try and do the story justice.....first of all I went with my friend to the local....I stress local.....chemist. She was buying various items for an old lady that she helps........a nice thing to do. Picture the scene....there is my friend standing in the chemist....where everyone knows her....clutching three LARGE packs of incontinence pads declaring that they're not for her. I'm sure everyone thinks she doth protest too much!!!! Embarrassing enough you might think. I...for a laugh.... shout to her to get the Steradent that she needs for her dentures....she has perfect teeth they're for the old lady.....and she goes over and knocks down the whole display of Steradent and they roll everywhere. She goes beetroot and then shouts to me...."You better not drop the (old lady's) whisky !" She knows just about everyone in the village.... it's a small village..... and now they have the distict impression that she is a toothless, alcoholic, incontinent!!

Once back at the house she informs me that she has heard that Turmeric is good for.....well everything....and so she is going to drink it twice a day! She's a nutter! So she mixes....wait for it.....turmeric, rapeseed oil and water. I ask what purpose the oil serves and she says it does something but she can't remember what. I suggest it might make you sick and indeed two seconds later...after one mouthful.....it did!! Turns out it IS good for everything.....in HORSES!!
