Alfred Dog's cycle tour...

POSTPONED!

We've finally got our bikes in working order, and still have the dog basket I bought for Alfred years ago. So we headed off to enjoy the summer weather this afternoon. But - The basket is a bit too small and Alfred couldn't settle at all. We took him out and had him running alongside us for a while, but when he's had enough exercise he refuses to go further and we didn't want that happening too far from home. So, we cut the ride short and took him home for a rest, then started out again. This is Mr K taking a drink break. We've decided to get one of those dog trailers that you attach behind the bike, like the ones you can get for children, but specially for a dog. Alfred will have much more room and be much more comfortable. He can then run with us and when he's had enough - his carriage will be waiting! :-)
