I see you

This is a panning shot of a car ... or at least, it was supposed to be.

My project at the moment is to learn the panning technique. I tried and failed the other night then came back and read more about it. I needed to clear my head this afternoon and it was glorious so I thought I would try again. I walked down to the main road but quickly realised the light was far too bright to give me the slow shutter speed I needed. I guess that technique works best in low light or with a filter? I can't lay my hands on the filters at the moment so had to pass on that today.

I stopped on the way back to have a conversation with the horses. One came over to see me so I tried a close shot, I've only slightly cropped it.
