A Well Turned Ankle

Things went swimmingly at the X-Ray place. Was in and out in about 10 minutes. Thankfully I haven't got any chipped bones or hairline cracks. I still have a swollen foot but I can live with that.

Picked up the Aircast as well. Which I've been told to wear continually for the next 2 weeks. I do hope that changing my socks is allowed. It could be very unpleasant for all concerned if not. I can tell you it's not the most comfortable thing to wear and therefore, it must be doing me good.

Awfully glad my health insurance paid for the cast though. It would have stuck in my craw to pay over a hundred Euros for it. (And in case anyone should think I've abandoned my principles and gone private, I haven't. You have to have health insurance if you live in Germany. No way around it.)
