May challenge - maximum, well maybe?
The blip for today shows one of the longest wisteria plants I have seen, so is this the maximum length for the species I wonder? Sadly it does not have quite as many blooms on as in previous years but is still spectacular. It is over 12 metres long and runs the full length of the wall between Court Farm and St Peter's church in Hambledon. There has been a church on the site since the 11th century, it overlooks farmland and is situated in the Surrey Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
