cathy got me this advent calendar this year. its lovely and simple and i love it! all the doors are open now, which means one thing. christmas tomorrow. i've been surprisingly organised this year - mostly due to getting the presents in early and online - avoiding postal delays, allowing for the need to return stuff and avoiding any scrums on the high street. very civilised. you also avoid christmas overload from all the crazy banners in the shops, the terrible music, and all that, and thus remain feeling christmasy right up to the day. hoorah!
