Winter Travels

Today I took the car through to my placement church. Unfortunately there was some seriously cold weather overnight and the hill up to the church was iced over. My poor car was just not having any of it. After desperate, slippy, slidy attempts to get to the top I gave up and parked a couple of streets away and walked the rest. I'm getting bored of this weather now.

After going to my home church in the evening I drove home to see my flatmate who returned from Oxford. It's nice to have someone home again! Despite this morning's troubles I'm so grateful for the car. It makes travelling in these cold temperatures that bit more bearable!
