Huckleberries

These small blossoms will turn into huckleberries by the late summer. There used to be a large patch of the bushes here on the farm but when Mr M's grandfather stopped farming many years ago, the patch grew up with a lot of brush and small trees and now the bushes don't get the sun that they used to. We still get berries, enough for pancakes or other desserts, but nothing like there used to be.

Fairly nice day, a few sprinkles. The major event of the day was that we went to vote in the midterm primary. There weren't many choices at this point, but at least we kept our voting record intact.
