A Zip Fit, A Zip Sip

As I sipped my coffee on the patio, I noticed Zippy going for a sip of the nectar on my Red Yucca. This plant is usually a hummingbird magnet, but with Zippy controlling my backyard now no other hummingbirds dare tread in his airspace.

I saw this Red Purple Baron in a firefight in the skies about a half hour earlier. Of course, he came out unscathed and, as seen here, gathered the spoils of his victory.
