Baby sparrow

This evening, I spotted first a baby starling and then this baby sparrow. The haar was in, so the conditions were not good for photography, so apologies for the quality.

In the nest box, I think we have lost one chick. I have counted beaks over and over, but can only see 6 in today's pictures. However, this was expected, and we'll probably lose more before the fledging; fingers crossed it won't be too many. I've been thinking for a day or two that I'd like to post their sounds in addition to pictures, and tonight I figured how to do it. Here they are:Recording 1 and recording 2
