Pow!

Nature really has a way with colour! I swear I did not plant these two next to each other, the Aquilegia was a seedling that sprang up.
I suppose I was responsible for not weeding it out, but I do rather like plants that get on with it themselves. My garden is therefore a sort of lowest common denominator of plants that can survive extreme neglect.
Sometimes it works out, but often special things that I promise I will take care of just disappear in the battle zone, and suddenly surprise me by flowering in the midst of something else.
Exciting isn't it, being a 'gardener'?
