Mum's Birthday.

Today's art journaling effort in honour of my mum, our own Queen Bee :)

Mum and dad have popped down to the capital for the weekend and spent a happy afternoon scoffing cakes and cream tea at The Sheriton! Claire and I met them at the Rutland for a few drinks (and present giving - ours and Clarks - 3 pairs of earrings all from Palenque...ooops. I would like to point out that it was my idea first and my siblings are well crap!) afterwards before they then headed off to a concert at the Usher Hall. Very lovely to see them, even if it was a bit brief! Claire is going to meet them again after the concert but I've been worse than usual this week so headed off home - I'll catch up with them properly tomorrow :)
